Where wild stories flicker and burn
TrashLight is a literary magazine for the feral, the rejected, the brilliantly unpublishable. We light fires with forgotten pages. We take what the others won’t touch. This is your home now.
We want the pieces that don’t belong anywhere.

Fiction
Flash, short stories, experimental,
raw, unfiltered, striking

Art
Digital, scanned, collage, painted,
drawn, graphic, unapologetic

Nonfiction
Memoir, personal essays, traumatic tales,
vulnerable, personal, screaming

Poetry
Formal, free, rhyming, weird,
bleeding, exposed

The Uncategorized
Hybrid work, text-image fusions,
multimedia madness, chaos on paper

Our Story
TrashLight was born from the wreckage. A flicker in the ruins. A need to carve out space for the work that didn’t fit anywhere else – too raw, too loud, too strange, too true. A home for artists who don’t ask permission.
We’re here because no one else was publishing the voices we needed to hear. So we lit the match ourselves.
