God is Better than Taco Bell

In one of my dark nights of the soul,
I began a pilgrimage from my bed,
wandering around on YouTube.
I stumbled upon
two monks who were quite hunks,
deeply contemplating St. John of the Cross.

The cute monk asked, What do we delight in?
The cuter one stated, Delightment is dangerous.
His theology summons an anecdotal remark,
I was putting too much joy and anticipation
into eating Taco Bell.
I had to remind myself that
God is better than Taco Bell.

One has to ponder,
what the hell
did he do at Taco Bell?
I guarantee that Jesus doesn’t care,
even if the monk went into the restroom
lifted his holy robe and rubbed his cheesy gordita crunch with extra guac
all over his crotch.
