Survival: A Poetry Collection

Wild Sky

After the Tsunami, the sea breeze delivers a letter to a survivor.
“She is happy now.”
“He is with you now. ”
The survivor reads the letter and cries.

“She says you were right.”
“It is beautiful that you are alive now.”
The survivor holds that letter and looks up at the sky.
They are convinced that their loved ones must be out there in that Wild Sky.

The letter from the sea breeze heals the survivor.

Voice of Truth

Survivors know the truth of the disaster.
They know the power of disaster.
They have experienced more than the words trauma and PTSD.
It is an experience that overwhelms the technical terms determined by experts.
Survivors know the truth that experts do not.
It is the truth of disaster.

The Voice of the Heart

Do psychotherapists see into the minds of traumatized people?
Do psychotherapists look into the minds of traumatized people through psychotherapy methods and techniques?

What is the most important thing to look at?

See the human being .
Knowing what it means to be human.

Listen to the heart of the wounded person.
Listen to the loneliness of the wounded.

And bring light to the darkness.
